Bournemouth sewage works vintage bus tours

The beaches around the south coast resort of Bournemouth are some of the cleanest in England, thanks in no small part to Wessex Water. If it is a little too windy to get the deckchairs out and bask in the glorious summer sunshine, the local water authority offers the occasional vintage bus guided tours of Bournemouth Sewage Works. Given that half a million litres of local sewage pass through the treatment works pipes each day, perhaps a windy day is not the best time to pay a visit.
